age

1) 몇 살이다 할 때는 'be + 나이'로 쓴다.

   I'm at the age of 22) (*)
   I'm 22 (years old).

2) '몇 살 된 아이'라고 할 때는 '명사 + 나이' 혹은 '명사 + aged + 나이'라고 쓴다. aged를 생략하게 되면 '명사 + 나이 + years of age'로 쓴다.

   A child in the age of seven or eight needs a little push.(*)
   A child of seven or eight needs a little push.

   They have two children in the age of 8 and 12) (*)
   They have two children aged 8 and 12) 
   They have two children 8 and 12 years of age.

   agree

1) 사람이나 의견(opinion)에 같은 생각 즉 동의를 나타날 때는 with를 써서 'agree with + 사람(의견)'으로 쓴다.

   I don't agree the people who say women should stay at home.(*)
   I don't agree with the people who say women should stay at home.

2) 무언가를 기꺼이 받아들이거나 허용할 때는 to를 쓴다.

   I don't understand why he doesn't agree the divorce.(*)
   I don't understand why he doesn't agree to the divorce.

3) 명사 agreement를 써서 동의한다고 할 때는 make를 안쓰고 reach, come to, work out을 쓴다.

   The government has made an agreement with the People's Republic  of China.(*)
   The government has reached an agreement with the People's Republic  of China.

   aid

1) aid는 주로 명사로 쓴다. 따라서 동사로 쓸 때는 aid보다는 help를 쓰는 것이 좋다.

   We must begin to aid ourselves and not wait for other countries.(*)
   We must begin to help ourselves and not wait for other countries.

2) '-의 도움으로'라고 할 때는 by가 아니라 with를 써서 'with the aid of'로 나타낸다.

   They can learn faster by the aid of computers.(*)
   They can learn faster with the aid of computers.

   all

1) 셀 수 있는 명사 앞에서 '전부'를 의미할 때는 all 보다는 whole이나 entire를 쓴다.

   This decision changed all of her life.(*)
   This decision changed whole of her life.

2) all은 대명사 뒤에 놓여야 하지 앞에 놓여서는 안 된다.

   As all you know, my name is Smith.(*)
   As you all know, my name is Smith.
