1) 위험하거나 해로울 수 있는 어떤 상황에 주의한다고 할 때는 pay attention to가 아니라 be careful, take care이라고 한다.

2) 많이 주의를 집중하다고 할 때는 full이나 undivided attention이라고 쓴다.

   audience

1) 교회에 모인 사람들은 congregation이고 어떤 집회나, 영화관, 콘서트에 모인 사람들은 audience이다.

   The priest stands in front of the bride and groom, facing the audience.(*)
   The priest stands in front of the bride and groom, facing the congregation.

   awake

1) awake는 주로 깨어있는 이라는 형용사로 사용되며 동사로 '일어나다'라고 할 때는 wake up이라고 쓴다.

   I get up at seven o'clock but I awake an hour earlier.(*)
   I get up at seven o'clock but I wake up an hour earlier.

   award

1) award는 무엇인가를 잘해서 주어지는 상, 자격증, 메달(prize, certificate, medal) 등을 말하며 reward는 누군가에게 준다고 한 상금이나 누군가를 기쁘게 해줌으로써 주어지는 보답을 말한다.
